Being in Perfect Health often means having to talk to or about certain things that make you uncomfortable. Why are we squeamish when it comes to close and personal health issues even if we know that the question at hand could be slowly draining the life from you?
Perfect Health-Here is The Question No One Talks About:
How are your bowel movements? How often do you go? More than once a day?
If you are overweight or obese this question, or questions need to be at the top of your list. Being afraid to know more is admission to ill-health and staying away from the answers will slowly kill you.
The normal amount of time it should take for regular bowel movements is anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. The typical American has regular bowel movements that vary from 40 to 45 hours. I do not mean to pick on Americans but you set standards for so many things in the world and your reaction to such important stuff can help us all.
I am not an expert on the subject but I can tell you from experience that regular bowel movements are important in order to obtain Perfect Health. Let me ask you a question I ask many:
“If you love steak and you accidentally left a nice piece of meat on the kitchen counter for 40 to 45 hours would you still cook it and eat it?” Just think about this for a moment.
I do hope you would tell me that you would not, right?
Here is my next question to you: “Why is that same steak sitting in your stomach 40 to 45 hours after you ate it?”
If it is not good to have it sitting on your kitchen counter at average room temperature (70 Fahrenheit, 20 Celsius), what is it doing in your stomach at 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, 37 Celsius (body temperature)?
If you understand the basic principles of digestion you need to be asking the right questions and getting the answers that will best fit your metabolism. Not everyone goes 2 to 3 times a day, but if our “going” only once or twice a week, that is terrible and not normal at all. Imagine all this food sitting in your body all this time just wasting and rotting away.
If you are still squeamish you should be.
If you are Passionate about your health and want to achieve Perfect Health, you need to start from the beginning. Start to learn about your body. If you are reading me right now you obviously have a computer and you need to ask Google all the questions you have on your mind.
Being able to better regulate your bowel movements will help you greatly. My wife uses to “go” only once a week for many years. Being a woman seemed to make it “more normal”? Haven’t you heard this over and over again? It was said that if your mother did, then it is normal?
I hear this kind of rubbish every day, “It’s in my genes”. Stop believing in old wives tales and using them as excuses for being obese. Get over the excuses and get moving. It is your life, right?
